Body Music Laboratories

Body Music is accessible for EVERYBODY. There are no limitations! We even worked with def children using this approach.
We offer several different formats of Body Music classes.
It could be one workshop with the duration of 3-6 hours, an "Introduction to Body Music".
But because Body Music consists of a great variety of techniques, the best will be to organize a series of 4-8 laboratories, each 3 hours long to develop different skills and approaches.
Structure of the workshop:
- Exploration of the sounds.
- Body coordination – excercises, oriented to develop different sequences of movements. Learning new body percussion sequences and mini-compositions.
- Group coordination – excercises, oriented to develop various comunication and partnership skills between performers. Includes such activities as: polyrhythms, group improvisation games, rhythmic movement etc.
- Sound-painting: creating improvisational music in a circle, using conductor’s signs of a facilitator and advantages of the diversity of participants and their musical/creative experience.
- Creative tasks for subgroups to produce new ideas, to develop skills of comunication and partnership, to create performances based on movement and body music.
